Graduate Students

As of summer 2026, the WyLab will be considering graduate student applications for the Fall 2027 cycle (applying in Fall 2026).

Postdoctoral Scholar

If you are interested in joining the lab as a Postdoc or a Visiting Scholar, please contact the PI directly via email. Unless otherwise specified, Postdoctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars will need to obtain external funding to support their stay. But the WyLab is very open to co-writing grant applications for these purposes! We have experience with the NSF SBE postdoctoral fellowship, and there are opportunities (e.g., Klarman Fellowship) at Cornell to get postdoc funding (deadline: October 11), as well as outside of Cornell (e.g., SSHRC, Banting).

Undergraduate Research Positions

If you are an undergraduate student interested in gaining research experience, the WyLab offers volunteer and for course credit research assistantships. We are primarily looking for motivated undergraduates who can commit to at least two semesters. On occasion, we will consider undergraduate research assistants who are looking for short-term experience (2 months, one summer).
